Dear BYSA Sponsor, 

Thank you very much for supporting this year’s BYSA Fall programs which will culminate with the 42nd annual Barrington Invitational Tournament on November 4th and 5th. The BIT involves an estimated 5,000 people, 100+ teams, and 20+ different soccer clubs across southern New England and beyond.  The B.I.T. also serves as the primary source of fundraising we do each year. 

Among other things, the funding we receive for the tournament helps us:  Provide direct support for families so cost is not a barrier to participation;  Award scholarships to deserving students to help with the cost of college;  Pay for professional coaching for our travel club and intramural league participants;  Replace major and minor pieces of equipment as needed for safety reasons; and, invest in our fields to make them playable after the heavy use they receive each spring and fall from the multiple sports played around town. Making this our primary source of fundraising allows our players to focus on having fun with and getting better at the game of soccer, instead of placing the responsibility on them to assist in the club’s fundraising efforts. We hope these benefits excite you as much as they do us, and we look forward to and are honored to have you associated with the BYSA this fall. Thank you very much for your support!
